Travel Advisor Event - Tour De Singkarak 2015 will be held on 3rd - 11st October onward. It will be the largest 7th annual bike race event in Indonesia. The event schedule had been changed as the announcement in the official of UCI Road Calendar Asia Tour. Tour De Singkarak will be animated onto nine stage process, including exploration of West Sumatera area and its cultural destinations.
This annual event is published by official of West Sumatera tourism department under supervising of Indonesian ministry of tourism and others organization such as local region government of West Sumatera, PB ISSI and tour event promoter. This year, Tour De Singkarak track will be aimed through various destinations such as Kelok 44, Kelok 9, deathly mount, Sileh Hills and also cross to the beauty West Sumatera environment, Singkarak Lake, Twin Lake, Harau valley, Minanjau Lake, Lawang peak, Jam Gadang Bukitinggi, Sawahlunto, Istano Basa Pagaruyung, etc. Those destinations provides extreme track which give great challenge to all racer with total distance of 1.300 Kilometer.

Trip/Tour Route to West Sumatera (Padang): Padang easly reach by air craft. From Kuala Lumpur, flight to Medan and continue to Padang. Direct flight may available from specific provider. From Jakarta (Soekarno-Hatta International Air Port), direct flight to Padang is available from various flight provider.
Note: Alternatively Padang can be reached by bus from nearby city.
Stage Informations:
- Stage 1: 3 October 2015, start at Carocok beach, Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan and finish at Gondoriah beach, Kota Pariaman. This rout total about 136 kilometers and crossing the area of Carocok beach , Tarusan, Bungus, Teluk Bayur, Padang, Bandara , Tiram beach and Gandoria.
- Stage 2: 4 October 2015, total distance 120 kilometers, start at Tiram beach, Kabupaten Padang Pariaman and finish at Singkarak lake, Kabupaten Solok. This route is the most extreme and deathly mounting track.
- Stage 3: 5 Oktober 2015, total distance about 157 kilometers, start from Desa Wisata Kabupaten Sijunjung and finish at Koto Baru Kabupaten Dharmasraya. The rider will cross these following area: Air Paneh , Maloro, Kamang, Kiliranjao, Pulau Punjung and Koto Baru.
- Stage 4: 6 Oktober 2015, total distance 160 kilometers, start at Muara Labuh, Kabupaten Solok Selatan and finish at Taman Wisata Kandi Kota Sawahlunto. Tracking will cross through: Padang Aro, Muara Labuh, Surian, Twin lake, Bukit Sileh, Solok, Muara Kalaban and Sawahlunto.
- Stage 5: 7 Oktober 2015, total distance 145 kilometers, start from Jam Gadang, Kota Bukittinggi and finish at Istano Basa Pagaruyung Kabupaten Tanah Datar. The track are include Jam Gadang Bukittinggi, Kapau, Ngarai Sianok, Panta, Malalak, Sicincin, Lembah Anai, Padang Panjang, Rambatan and Istano Basa Pagaruyung.
- Stage 6: 8 Oktober 2015 with total distance about 135 kilometers. Start from Ngalau Indah Kota Payakumbuh and finish at Lembah Harau Kabupaten 50 Kota, rider will cross the area of Ngalau Indah Payakumbuh, Pakan Rabaa, Balai Tangah, Puncak Pato, Batusangkar, Baso and Payakumbuh.
- Stage 7: 9 Oktober 2015, this track is one of the shortest and also well known as extreme track. It is about 98 kilometers. Start at Equator Bonjol Pasaman through Lubuk Sikaping, Rimbo Panti, Talu and finish to Simpang empat, Kabupaten Pasaman Barat.
- Stage 8: 10 Oktober 2015 with total distance about 121 kilometers, start from Simpang Empat Kabupaten Pasaman Barat through Kinali, Lubuk Basung, Muko-muko, Kelo 44 and finish to Puncak Lawang Kabupaten Agama.
- Stage 9 (Final Stage): 11 Oktober 2015, total distance 110 kilometers, start from Serambih Mekah Kota Padang Panjang to Lembah Anai , Sicincin, Padang, Kampus Unand and finish at Padang beach.
