Well, some tourists from other countries usually think Bali is the best place to enjoy summer time in Indonesia. But actually for some people, this is just common thing and Indonesia has more places that can be explored to enjoy some unforgettable summer holiday. Pulau Komodo is the place that some local and international tourists like to talk about. This Wisata Pulau Komodo is a part of the Komodo National Park and also the part of the Lesser Sunda Chain. And specifically, it is located in East Nusa Tenggara Province. What will we find in Komodo Island? Well, as its name is Komodo Island, this is the place, the natural habitat of the Komodo Dragon. It is the largest lizard on earth and sure there are so many great places that can be experienced in Komodo Island. In November, 2011, Komodo has been put on the list of the New 7 Wonders of Nature. Komodo also becomes a living legend because in some countries have out of field research.

After the Komodo as the main thing to know about this island, you can find the pink beach. Why pink beach? Well, this is because of the sand has pink color. It is not actually pink but it appears to be pink because of the mixture of the white sand and red send that is formed from the pieces of Foraminifera. This is a very exotic beach that you will enjoy during your visit to Komodo Island. In Komodo Island you also can experience a tracking journey in a form or group that will be guided by a ranger. Ranger is a guide that has ability and capability in handling Komodo. As we know that Komodo is a big lizard. Though it looks calm and move slowly, it actually can run with the 16-18 kilometer per hour speed and it is able to swim up to 500 meter. So, you are not allowed to do a tracking on your own or separated from group. You have to be with a group and a ranger that will guide you safely. The track will be available for two types, the short and the long one. So you can just choose the one that will be the most suitable for you. To reach this place, we need to get to Labuan Bajo and we can start from Ngurah Rai airport. After that, tourist can rent a boat to go to the Islands of the Komodo National Park.

To experience something unforgettable, sleeping on the boat can be absolutely awesome but you need to give away some other extra cash. There are so many types of packages that you can find if you want to go to Komodo Island. They are available in so many different details so that you can find and choose the one that you think will suit you the most.

Best Way to Travel From Bali to Komodo Island
All you want to do is visit the islands of the Komodo National Park, and if your time is short, then by far the best option – and one that will work out cheaper than a “tour”- is to fly from Bali to Labuanbajo (the little town on Flores that is the access point from the park). From there it is incredibly easy to arrange, at very short notice, a trip to see the dragons, either a day trip to Rinca (which is the more attractive of the park’s two main islands) or an over night trip to both Komodo and Rinca.
