Travel Advior Culinary Lombok - Nasi (rice) Balap Puyung, originally made by Inaq Esun (madam Esun)  from Puyung village, central Lombok. It has been establishing since 1973 with the native name as Nasi Kaput. It made from Nasi with Chicken Plecingan (super spicy sauce with the origin of sasak ingredient) and Serundeng (meat cotton crackers) which wrapping in Banana Leaf. 

She sell Nasi Kaput at the Kebon Roek traditional market as her secondary job. Since she also has fish store at that place. By selling Nasi, she expected to earn extra money and advance her business into a bright future. Amazingly, the nasi kaput well become famous around the area. And now days, Nasi Kaput well known as Nasi Balap Puyung. It had became one of the most famous native Lombok culinary. 

As the business increasing, Nasi Balap Puyung began to introduce for local market in 1990. It sell at home, in the puyung village, kecamatan Jongat, central Lombok. From this steady place, Nasi Balap Puyung sparkling its name into around Lombok and it will miss the lombok aura and energy if we never try this kind of culinary. From the mataram to Koeta beach or from the Airport, the puyung village easily found across that destination. It placed in main road and about 50 meter away from the road by entering small gate of the village.
